It's pretty amazing how much the Trump Administration portrays themselves as victims. Pence rationalizes kicking out the CNN reporter recently because of her supposed lack of "decorum", and SHS acts like the way people treat them has nothing to do with THEM. I mean, SHS works for the guy that did a press conference with Bill Clinton's prior conquests and tried to get them front row seating at a debate...and they're talking about decorum? The Board President at my building is a retired journalist...and a conservative...and we often talk about this administration. I asked him not too long ago why the media doesn't just call out SHS on her lies, and I surmised that they would probably revoke press credentials if they didn't like the questions. Yesterday, he had just returned from a long vacation with his grandkids, and I filled him in on the Tampa rally, and I told him that I am really frightened that there will be violent repercussions in the not-too-distant-future. He agreed.

Nothing is surprising. This hot mess still might go in a lot of different directions. Every day seems like almost a year worth of breaking news. SHS is a horrible person. Perfect for this administration.

I think Sarah baby needs to see a doctor. I swear every time I see her talk her face contorts in such a way that I think she's on the verge of a stroke.

It's funny because on a Yahoo story I had commented about how the Republican party has become what they always accused the Democratic party of being, a party of victims. The vitriol that came from the Trumpites would have made George Carlin blush.
If you aren't with Trump, you are a "liberal", a "RINO", a "socialist", a "communist".
Occasionally they will have a story about John Kasich. He is no fan of the President or many of his policies, and for that, he is called "Liberal John." I guess when you are to the right of Atilla the Hun, everyone is a lefty.

And now Daddy is coming to her defense. I used to respect Mike Huckabee, but he is one of those pharisees that Christ has warned us about. Maybe he should open up his Bible once in awhile, and not the one written by Donald Trump.

Mike Huckabee and guys like Pence and Sessions are what have become the fuel for my deep lack of tolerance for religion. I spent years playing softball on church teams and those guys were great people. They talked about Jesus and really made me think about things. Those people now preach hate for immigrants to me, and hate for Obama, and gays, and hate for lib-ruls and people who are on food stamps and welfare, and love Trump, who is a walking pile of un-Jesus. And these people are saying the same things that I hear out of Huckabee, Pence and Sessions and some others. I'm not sure what happened to the bulk of the religious folks in this country, but they sure make me want to run in an opposite direction. I miss the days of religious folks wanting for abortion to go away.

People are followers not leaders Rob. This human trait is what gives rise to Hitler, Jim Jones, Mao Tse Tung and their ilk. In America it's now focusing on the Trump cult of personality. As despicable as this whole Trump thing is, it's really nothing new in the overall scheme of things. Most people just sit around on their lazy asses and wait for somebody to come around and tell them what to do and how to think. People love to be manipulated. Trump's aura will collapse one day as these things eventually do. Nothing lasts forever. But when it does it will just be replaced by something else for better or worse. The only question is how much damage will be done in the meantime before it all comes tumbling down.

A history professor from Duke was on Bill Maher last night. She has been researching the Koch Brothers for well over a decade, and she said that their plan is to change the constitution, and that Kavanaugh is their hand picked guy to do that. They're 6 states away from a constitutional convention. Among other things, their plan is to put voter ID into the constitution, and to repeal the 17th Amendment. If this is true, then the damage will be irreversible in our lifetimes.

What kind of universe are we living in when one network spends 15 minutes blasting another network? I mean, I must have missed Chet and David doing their "Here is why Walter Cronkite is a dooshbag" segments.

Fox talking about CNN? Or MSNBC? (Assuming because you say Fox is the only channel your wife watches). I opted for watching the Cubs lose followed by Ozark on Netflix (season 2 started today).

Had a hard time following Ozark last night. I hate long breaks between seasons.

I watched the season 1 recap, then watched the final episode of season 1 to bring myself up to speed. Diving into episode one of season 2 today.

We watched the recap before the Season 2 opening episode, but shit...we were like "huh?"

Pick one...although last night it was CNN refusing to "back down" on the Cohen's lawyer story.
I nearly soiled myself when I saw she has MSNBC on today.

He was the source of some comments that Cohen had dirt on Trump in regards to the Russia investigation.
