I posted on FB that I have one foot on the Hot Garbage bandwagon...and that he better not fuck it up. If he's going to be on the Cubs' staff, though, he's gotta swing a better bat.

He's showing what a little bit of offense can do for a W/L record. He's pitching like a guy that could win 17-20 games for the Cubs over a full season.

Wouldn't surprise me. Shutout complete games are rare. Quintana is the same guy now that he's been for years. He basically gives you Mark Buehrle kind of production in terms of innings and other stats. He's had to pitch through terrible years for the Sox offense, and it's no surprise he's winning games now.
