And people are having a fit if someone has some underlying condition and are being counted among the Covid deaths. If Covid made their problem worse, then it's a Covid death.

It's a good thing that their biggest concern is Trump's numbers, not human life.  Absent Covid-19, would John Prine be alive today?

Somehow, I've never known John Prine's music.  I heard his name for years and years but I wouldn't be able to name or recognize a song of his.  When I heard he passed away I went on YouTube and listened to a couple songs and really enjoyed them.  He plays a sweet acoustic guitar.  Still not sure what radio station I'd need to find to hear him.  How was he categorized?  Was he a cross between folk and country?

My husband is a 100% XRT guy, and he was a big John Prine fan, so I'm sure you'd hear some of his stuff there.

Seriously, is there any other decent terrestrial radio left in Chicago besides XRT?  I used to have about 10 FM stations programmed in my car.  They all got a little weird besides XRT.  The Loop became Christian Rock.  I just leave it on Sirius now, unless I'm listening to a ballgame.  Sirius Spectrum is the station most like XRT.

If you have HD radio, the Loop online is at 101.1 HD.

Since I drive my kids' 2004 Honda Civic, which doesn't have radio controls on the steering wheel, I generally listen to talk radio in the car, because I'm a big channel changer if I don't like the song.  I'm pretty clueless when it comes to popular music these days.  The only reason I know who Lizzo is is because of the dust up about her weight.  Don't know any of her music.  I do get a kick out of MeTV FM.  I've heard The Partridge Family songs, the theme from Summer of 42, etc.  It's not really oldies.

Brandmeier and Buzz have a new show streaming online, as do Bill and Wendy (although somehow their show is through WLS?).
