Note a few GOP candidates with a possibility to lose are already claiming voting fraud, or cheating - the latest being that POS Kemp in Georgia's governor's race stating the Dems are playing shenanigans with the voting and THAT'S why the huge early turnouts (nothing to do with trump and/or him)

I saw that. It's kind of funny because you can actually see the lines and significantly longer wait times are being reported. Whether or not there are issues with hacking certainly can't be proven/disproven simply by looking at the lines...and it may be that in some locations the longer lines are due to the GOP having closed some polling locations and changing early voting dates/times so that polls aren't open as long or on weekends...but the lines seem to confirm that there are early voting records being set.

yeah, seems like regardless of how all of these things shake out, the results will be based upon far greater participation. My hope is that if anything comes from this, it's that the Dems do a better job of pushing participation across all ages and generations of voters. Hoping this is habit forming.

Yea, but here's the difference
Republicans: "Vote, bc if you don't the liberal agenda will cut off your nuts, steal your kids, and religion will be gone b/c they are all socialists and the devil incarnate"
Democrats: "Vote, b/c its the right thing to do. No matter how you vote, VOTE!"

I'm not so sure. I think that turnout of young people for Obama in 2008 was at record breaking highs. I think Dems best shots are when that demographic votes. My kids are voters because they grew up in my house, and politics are pretty regular topics of conversation. When Obama was elected and the Republicans were losing their shit when he planned to give a first-day-of-school address and they strong armed schools into not showing it, I pulled my kids out of school to watch it at home. But what about the kids who aren't in politically active homes? Is fear of fascism going to get them to the polls? Don't think so. Clinton was pretty smart to go on MTV. I think if you get the 18-29 demographic going to the polls with the consistency as the old white guy, then you're going to elect a lot of dems. They're also a group that doesn't think socialism is a bad word, so if that demographic starts to vote with consistency, then the Republican shouts of "socialism" will fail.
