    Someone will inevitably (not here, but somewhere) bring up the fact that the Sox aren't hitting and that Steverson should be fired. Bill Melton brought up a great point yesterday. For how many years have the Sox not been able to do anything against some random junkball pitcher that a team puts against them? Whether it's someone with major league success like Jered Weaver, or someone that we jokingly refer to as "Cy," the Sox can't hit the junkballer. 


    Is it due to lack of coaching? Or is it due to hitters not listening and just whailing away?

    It's been pathetic and the same shit show we've seen year after year. There's just something about the culture of this team that makes them hit the way they do. No patience at the plate whatsoever. Good hitting teams make pitchers PITCH. The White Sox slap away at anything thrown up to the plate. Has Matt Davidson had a fucking hit since opening day? Jesus Christ he's making Dave Kingman look like Rod Carew.

    Possibly just a lack of talent and the greatest coaching in the world wouldn't help.
