Just read in one of his obituaries. The ENTIRE dialogue of Best in Show was improvised. NO SCRIPT. Amazing
One of my faves from his days on Fernwood Tonight - which if you younger folks never saw those shows - they are on Youtube

Loved him playing Jerry in Fernwood 2-night. Martin Mull was great, too. I remembered the episode when they brought on the Jew.
