Now for something other than all that political crap...saw Alice Cooper again tonight...outstanding as always. He might very well be the greatest theatrical rocker of all time...he has my vote! Not only that...the songs hold up even today. Great band backing him.

Edgar Winter opened...wasn't bad.

Never saw Cooper, but I saw Edgar Winter at Darienfest a few years ago. People ruined it by constantly yelling stuff about Johnny.

See Alice if you can Kevin. He still brings it and the stage show might be the best out there in terms of pure rock'n'roll. Nita Strauss will blow you away with her guitar playing and she's hotter than a seven dollar pistol to boot. I've been a fan of Cooper's forever and this was my third time seeing him...I'd go see him again in a heartbeat.

I didn't think Edgar Winter was still alive ..I know Johnny died a few years back, but assumed Edgar was gone as well ...glad to hear his keyboard is still doing strong. Seen Johnny but no Edgar ..Saw Cooper a million years ago ...74-5 something like that ..maybe even earlier ..good show ..glad to see he's holding up- funniest thing was I saw him getting interviewed when he was well into his career and the interviewer was asking him about his show and the death theme, and weirdness and if his kids had any issues having such a weird father ..and Cooper looked at him crosseyed and said 'You do know its all an act, right?"...LOL

Alice's daughter performs onstage with him as one of the characters in his show. For years Alice's wife of over 40 years performed in the same capacity. Yes it's an act...but what an act. In reality Alice is a born-again Christian and conservative republican. Who says I'm not fair and balanced?

One of my husband's good friends is a huge Alice Cooper fan, and they've gone to see him a few times together. My husband concurs that he puts on a great show. I see that he's in Jesus Christ, Superstar.

My health kinda prevents me from doing anything that requires standing for more than 20 minutes, so these days "going out" means going to the grocery store. At most, I go watch my son run.
