Sprint, Comcast, et al Empty Sprint, Comcast, et al

Honestly, these companies have us by the short curlies.  I guarantee that they make millions of dollars because they fuck up your bill and people don't want to deal with what you have to do to get it corrected.  I just spent 51 minutes on the phone with Sprint.  51 minutes.  I have a plan where there's a flat amount for all our phones for unlimited talk and text.  When my very old phone broke in August, I replaced it, and someone screwed up and started charging me $15 for my line for talk and text.  I called in October and told them that they were charging me for that line, and that it should be covered under our plan.  They told me they would reverse it and credit the charges.  Finally sat down and reviewed my November and December bills (I'm on auto-pay so I don't typically review the bills, because that fucking requires a PhD), and I could see that they never credited my account back in October, and they continued charging me $15 a month for my line.  And just for some extra fun, when they started charging me $15 for my line, they started charging $15 for my daughter's line.  I can't imagine why they did that...the only reason I could think is because she and I have the same kind of phone.  So these jackasses tell me "we can only credit back as far as 60 days".  You fuckheads...I called in October.  I never received that credit.  And you continued to charge me!  And now you're telling me your hands are tied?  And why did this take 51 minutes?  Scroll through my account...see a bunch of charges that aren't supposed to be there...you tell me "sorry, you're only getting a $30 credit"...and that takes 51 minutes?

I know exactly how frustrating all you describe is. I have the same, unchanged cable/wifi/phone service thru Time Warner/Spectrum - no changes, never buy a movie or any other extra service. Every month I'm charged a different amount - not by a lot, but $5, $20, $4 ....why? Who knows.  If I had time, I'd rant on about the package I am forced to carry - unless I want to pay even MORE

One month, I noticed that I had been charged for the Playboy Channel. Naturally I had to watch it for an hour or so to see if I wanted to get rid of it. I did. Even they play reruns.

Do they play anything on that channel that's worth 5 mins of your attention?  I remember in college when we were offered free cable as an incentive to move into a new apartment complex and it had free Playboy and HBO.  Aside from seeing one of our cute, former high school classmates occasionally bouncing around topless on one of their silly series, the stuff on that channel was boring as shit.

Hey, it's all perspective.  Most of us are from the era when boys used to use the Sears' Catalog bra section to masturbate.

The thing about the Playtex 18-hour Bra...which "lifts and separates" (their catch phrase)...it made boobs look pointy.  Look at anyone in the 50s and 60s and they look like cones.  I **think** the marketing campaign suggested that the bra was so comfortable, that you can comfortably wear it until you take it off to go to bed.  And trust me...sometimes the best part of the day for some women is when they get out or their work clothes and bra and put on jammies.  Thanks to having a full axillary node dissection, I get to wear a bra 24 hours a day...and nothing cute and lacy.  Orthopedic is probably more accurate.  This is how I ward off lymphedema in my arm.

I know my "dad keeps them under the bathroom sink" porn magazines.  My dad never had as much as a Playboy, but just about every family I babysat for had magazines far dirtier than Playboy or even Penthouse under their bathroom sinks.
