Wow...you go from a perfect game in the 9th, to a no-no through 9, then you lose the no-no AND you're the losing pitcher in a 1-0 defeat. What a roller coaster.

Maybe he is younger that I think, but he seems to me to be one of the latest bloomers ever. Hasn't he bounced around for 8-10 years with multiple teams. Last year I could not believe how well he did, but he might be one of my last guesses to who was working very late on a perfecto. Sad to see him lose it. An interesting thing is that Stony called it, and even predicted it would be Harrison that broke it up.

The recent Cubs pitcher that signed with the Dodgers had a perfecto for 8 and then lost it to a leadoff HR in the 9th. I have a problem remembering things, but I think it was ?Rich? Hill.
During the Sox game, Benetti said something to the effect that " so many perfect games get broken up late, Steve, who do you think will end up breaking it up." Stone said Josh Harrison.

Thanks for the correction. Like I said, I have trouble with my memory and it is getting worse rapidly.frank bonifacic wrote:Slightly off, JimNomads44 wrote:
