At this point, assuming and hoping he doesn't get us into WW3, I'm enjoying every damn minute of this and how embarrassing this must be to the sheep that believed in this guy. Not sure how he lasts to the end of this calendar year.

Was I too subtle?
Christ almighty. All of my shrieking and howling at the moon about what a fuckup of a president Trump would be, and it appears I was underselling it! How in the hell is it possible that this nut is actually worse than I ever even imagined he would be? For a while I thought Sharpy was getting a bit overzealous in his anti-Trump sentiments on Facebook, but even he appears to have been understating what a fucking moron this guy would be as president.

Enjoying it? That comment is as sick as the stuff Trump is denying. No American should be enjoying this.

Besides, Putin is going to release HIS notes. Won't you be ashamed for taking the word of a disgraced FBI director over the word of the Russian president?

I know it's sick. You are correct, Kevin. Sometimes we can't help ourselves but to enjoy seeing our predictions bear out. That is, until it begins to take an actual, objective toll on our country and our people. Then it stops being enjoyable.

Actually, I think it's not yet been determined who leaked the information about the Trump meeting with Lavrov, whereby Donnie surrendered highly classified material to the Russians. I don't think Mr. Comey was involved in this.
It's pretty sad, however, that Putin appears to have a transcript of the meeting conversation, but our government doesn't have one. And this meeting occurred in the Oval Office. Unbelievable.

And just so you know it isn't about you, it also pisses me off that all of these boneheads are trying to justify it! I get that people like Sean Spicer have to try to talk about it and explain it, but I don't really see him trying to "justify" it like people like Conway or the idiots on right wing radio. Even Adam Kinzinger is coming out in favor of an independent investigator. You know how fast Kark would call him a RINO?

In a way, I feel sorry for Spicer. What in the hell is he supposed to say during these briefings? Hard to imagine why anyone would be against an independent investigator. What's the fear? The folks trying to justify this nonsense are mostly the same dopes that were chanting "lock her up" because Hillary used a personal server to handle her gov't emails. Oh, the horror.

Why do I think Spicer is given a script? Even if he gets fired (which is rumored), the guy is going to make a fortune on some book publishing deal. He'll never work in Washington again, but he won't have to work again period.

Trump probably has him signed to a contract that states that he'll never divulge any info about his time working for Trump. That's why Mark Burnett hasn't gone public with Trump's dirty laundry from during the Apprentice days. I'll bet most of these folks remain mum in the long run, out of fear of Donnie's lawyers and lawsuits.

Agree - I've "yelled" at rob before , there is nothing fun or remotely enjoyable about this - it's like hoping for a nuclear war just to see how it really turns out .. It'd be one thing if the outcome was a done deal - that he'd be gone, then its just biding time - but there is no guarantee Trump loses or that we wake up from this nightmare

Honestly, I thought it would be this bad, with one caveat...I figured Trump would be better about concealing it. I overestimated him, which, in hindsight, is truly stupid. The guy flat out said he could kill someone on the streets of New York and there would be no consequences, so the fact that he's been so blatant in his actions only demonstrates that he truly believes that being rich and powerful means he can do whatever he wants. He will be out of office sooner rather than later, his rabid fans will rally around him, and he'll somehow make lemons out of lemonade. My only hope is that he ends up in the slammer, which is highly unlikely.

I suppose the part I underestimated is similar to yours. I hadn't any idea it would all be so blatant and obvious, and who knew there'd be this much? You knew he'd lie all the time and be an insecure dope, but for there to be such an avalanche is a bit surprising.

I used to have a friend in the Chicago Police Department, a captain, since deceased - who used to always say, the only thing saving society is that criminals are basically stupid - otherwise, we'd all be lost ....Meet Donald Trump

Count me in the crowd that believes not a goddam thing is going to come from any of this and I not only think Trump survives it but I'm betting he serves out his term and wouldn't count him out of winning a second. This country has lost its way and it's gotten to the point where, for a HUGE segment of its population, blatant lies have become gospel and reasonable thought is considered the unpatriotic ramblings of "Libtards".
Far too many in this country have adopted the same mentality of the German populace who lived next door to Dachau and thought it was snowing in July.

Cream!
I spent 3 months in Central Florida. I do not discount one word of your post.
I am just amazed at the mindset of idiots who watched him act like a total uninformed ass in Primary and Presidential debates and could not discern he has a big time attention deficit disorder.
People buying into all his tough talk bullying act.
Trump in Office and idiots still talking about THE CLINTONS.
Hawk Harrelson may dumb down Sox Fans. WHO CARES!! Limbaugh and his ilk have created a PRESIDENT.
I would just overhear conversations of mopes. Then I would notice all of the MASSACHUSETTS and NEW YORK license plates in the lots.

Let's face it...if Fox News tells its viewers that none of this Trump news is anything more than liberal hysteria, then the viewers will accept that, believe that, and move forward under that reality. And they will hunker down and support their unfairly-persecuted savior. That's the reality inside of which we now live. Ignorance is celebrated.

Exactly. Ketchup is bad enough, but well done? You might as well just admit to killing puppies if you're cooking steak well done and putting ketchup on it.

In today's Daily Doozy, Presidunce told the Russian diplomats the other day that Comey is a nut job and that he fired him to ease the pressure on Trump from the Russia investigation. Geesh...is this guy TRYING to get impeached?

On the upside, my mother in law, life long Republican...Republican poll worker, three NRA bumper stickers including the huge one that says "STAND AND FIGHT", lifelong racist, doesn't trust Trump and thinks he's in bed with Russia and that he's going to get us all blown up. On the downside, she probably would never vote for anyone who doesn't have an R after their name. Different than your scenario, but basically same result.

Meanwhile Hannity would defend him if Trump was standing with a bloody knife over a stabbed Comey, yelling something about RINOs.
