Best Sox CF that I remember. And he was a fine hitter for awhile. But that was relative on a poor hitting team. Landis was the #3 hitter much of the time on the World Series club. Before Klu joined them, I remember the lineup as Aparicio, Fox, Landis, Lollar, Al Smith, Torgeson, Phillips or Goodman, Rivera or McAnany
Here is one similar but Romano caught and Lollar moved to 1B. Landis had surely one of the best games of his career in this one.

Just looked at your link. 5-5 which got his average to .254!!
